ABOUT US The African Mining Professionals Association of Australia Inc. (AMPAA) is a networking not-for-profit organisation of mining industry professionals in Australia. Membership is open to all persons, organisations, body corporate or business partnership which supports and shares in our objectives.
The Association traces its roots to 2015 when the Ghanaian Mineral Resource Professionals Association of Australia Inc. was founded. Four years thereafter and having laid the foundation for continued growth, it was time to evolve into AMPAA; the single umbrella organisation providing a common platform for networking of African-Australian mining industry professionals. AMPAA was gazetted on the 15 July 2019 and is headquartered in Perth, Western Australia.
The Association utilises its resources to enhance and support its members through Networking, Professional Development and Community Engagement.
Our Mission Our mission is to provide a strong networking platform for African mining and minerals industry professionals in Australia as well as strategic partnerships within Australia that seeks to contribute to the Economic, Institutional and Intellectual Growth across Africa’s mining and minerals sector.
Our Vision AMPAA seeks to provide a forum for mining industry professionals and partner organisations to seek out growth opportunities through Professional Networking, Knowledge Sharing and Promotion of the mining and minerals industry in the African-Australian community and in Africa
