Description

Halleck Creek Mine in Wyoming is America’s long-term rare earths solution, with the capability to secure a stable domestic supply of magnet metals essential to U.S. national security, defense, and manufacturing.

Currently, the United States has only one producing rare earths mine. Halleck Creek provides the answer—establishing multiple points of domestic production to counter foreign control over upstream rare earth supply chains. The Halleck Creek resource is easily mined and capable of supplying both light (NdPr) and heavy (Dy, Tb) rare earth elements for more than a century.

In addition, the Halleck Creek project benefits from a fast-track permitting advantage. Permitting for the initial, separate, and independent development phase—the Cowboy State Mine—is conducted solely through the State of Wyoming, with no federal NEPA requirements. The process is already well underway and expected to be completed in under 24 months.
