Allure South Sea Pearls has built a reputation for creating magnificent pearl and diamond jewellery. From the pristine waters near Broome and Tahiti, Allure select only the finest quality South Sea pearls for its jewellery collections.
Allure's head office is based in Perth, Western Australia. Allure also operates a flagship retail boutique in Broome, the provincial home of pearl farming in Australia.
Allure operates a successful stockist distribution network with retail stores in Australia and the South Pacific.
Allure South Sea Pearls is a privately owned company. The Directors - William (Bill) Reed AM and Lindsay Youd created the brand in 2009 as they believed there was a niche market for high quality South Sea pearl jewellery.
Bill Reed has more than forty-five years experience in almost all aspects of the pearl industry in many countries. He helped to found the first cultured pearl farm in Tahiti.
Since returning to Australia in 1975 after many years overseas Bill founded two pearl farms in the remote waters of Western Australia. His contributions to the South Sea pearl industry have been recognised by the Australian and Tahitian governments and resulting in him being awarded the Order of Australia in 2012.
Lindsay Youd is a second generation jeweller/watchmaker and his fascination with pearls began many years ago during the early days of his apprenticeship. In 1989 Lindsay made a decision to move to Broome to further his career in the pearling industry.
Lindsay and Bill have been working business partners since 1989 and have built successful pearl farm consultancy, manufacturing, wholesale and retail businesses.
Allure no longer owns pearls farms but has long term relationships with the best pearl producers in the world. This allows Allure to source the finest South Sea pearls direct from farms in Australia, Tahiti and the Philippines.
