Description
AIWCA provides exemplary leadership and networking in the Australia–India women’s cricket community, and fosters cricket development, especially at the more advanced levels of the female game.
AIWCA will provide opportunities for Australian female cricketers of Indian descent (and others) to play high level representative cricket in Australia and on overseas tours.
AIWCA is a not-for-profit sporting organisation run by an experienced committee of volunteers.
AIWCA plans to select an Open age group squad, an U/18 squad, and also support younger female teams / players.
AIWCA is based in Sydney, NSW, with networks in the other Australian States, as well as in India.
AIWCA is partnering with the Coaches’ Association (HKHDCCA) on an exciting Girls Under 17 Cricket Tour to India in April 2024. Other cricket tours for older female teams will be organised in future.
