Ainsworth Advisory was established in 2017 with the ambition of really helping small business owners and operators to better understand and manage their businesses from a financial and non-financial point of view. At Ainsworth Advisory we are passionate about the hospitality industry and this created a natural specialisation – restaurants, bars, wine retailers and distributors, among others – however, it is small and medium businesses of all kinds that we wish to support by providing greater visibility over their financial affairs, always ensuring compliance and supporting positive change.

Ainsworth Advisory was founded by James Ainsworth – After 12 years working at one of the world’s largest accounting firms, it was time for a change. A time to use the skills and knowledge learnt to help businesses that I cared about, businesses I was passionate about, and most importantly the people behind those businesses.

Technology and innovation is at the forefront of our approach – Enabling accounting products like Xero together with the right choice of the various industry or service specific applications ensures your business’ finance function is streamlined and efficient – everyone wins.
