AIBI has grown from 10 founding members in 1995 to more than 180 active members by January 2025. Of these, about 25% of business incubators have been established over 20 years, and 80% have more than 5 years of experience.
The Association of Indonesian Business Incubators (AIBI) has played an important role in supporting startups throughout Indonesia. Currently, it is estimated that more than 12,000 startups receive guidance through the AIBI business incubator network, which operates from Aceh to Papua. This broad support reflects the organization's commitment to developing startups across the country.
AIBI membership includes a variety of business incubators. AIBI members consist of business incubators of higher education institutions, the private sector, State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), local governments, and institutions and ministries, which illustrate a broad spectrum of support for startups in various sectors.
