The African Australian Advocacy Centre (AAAC) is a registered charity organisation committed to advocating for the well-being of African Australians. Through a bipartisan approach, AAAC addresses critical issues affecting the African Australian community while striving to build a more inclusive and equitable Australia for all.
AAAC provides vital support across a broad range of service areas, addressing key challenges faced by the African Australian community, including racism and discrimination, settlement issues, domestic violence, youth engagement, education, Civic Participation, immigration, financial, representation, and employment issues.
As advocacy organisation, our volunteers and Team members deliver this support through their established networks and by collaborating with systems that can offer assistance.
We conduct community consultation, research and advocate on key issues to identify common areas for further advocacy efforts.
We collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including non-profit organisations, government bodies (both state and federal), businesses, industry leaders, the civil sector, academia, the philanthropic sector, and international agencies such as the United Nations As a key peak body, using a bipartisan approach, AAAC is dedicated to fostering a more inclusive and equitable society, where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
