Since the first race meeting in 1899, Addington Raceway & Events Centre has expanded its facilities over the decades and is today New Zealand’s Premier Multipurpose Racing & Events Venue.
Home of the IRT NZ Trotting Cup (NZ's race that stops a nation), Addington Raceway hosts approximately 62 race meetings per season with additional meetings held by guest clubs. Combined with over 250 other events per year Addington Raceway & Events Centre is one of Christchurch's most popular and utilised facilities.
