Description
The goal of 100 People Doing Good is to raise the profiles of local Singaporean charities among the expat community and to help raise funds for the vital work they are doing. We’re all gaining a lot from our time in Singapore - now we have the chance to give something back to our adopted home.
Every month, we run either 100 Women Doing Good, 100 Men Doing Good or 100 People Doing Good where four fantastic local charities share their stories, struggles and successes with us followed by a Q&A, where you can find out more about their work and what they need to help make a difference to the lives of vulnerable people and children in our community.
As our name suggests, at every event we aim to have 100 people each donate 100 dollars to their charity of choice on the night. After the presentations you can donate to your favourite charity. You’ll then have the chance to network with fellow guests over complimentary drinks and canapes.
Since our launch event on June 16th we’ve raised $41,487 for charities including, Star PALS, Brain Tumour Society Singapore, Aware and The Children’s Wishing Well.
Join us at our next event on Wednesday 25th November at The Park Royal on Pickering from 6:30pm onward. It’s our very first 100 People Doing Good, for men and women, where four new charities will be on board to share their experiences with you.
